Suzie Daly

Suzie Daly, MHA, is the Operational Manager for Hartwig Moss Benefits, LLC, in Austin, Texas where she manages all client related activities for Texas.  Suzie leverages her proven experience in health care management to effectively ensure high quality client services throughout the Texas region.

Prior to joining Hartwig Moss Benefits, Suzie functioned as the Director of the Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery at St. David’s Healthcare System in Austin, Texas (2005-2007).  In this role, she was responsible for general operations, business development, marketing, and clinical analysis/performance improvement of programs and service lines.  She additionally was responsible for the direction of Quality Programs for St. David’s Medical Center, where she: a) reported and analyzed quality-based information to management, physicians, board of directors, and staff, b) ensured facility compliance with all appropriate regulatory and accrediting agencies, and c) educated managers, directors and senior management on quality and patient safety related initiatives.  She additionally coordinated the annual strategic planning process for the entire facility.

From 2003 to 2005, Suzie functioned as the Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation for Tulane University Hospital and Clinic, where she was responsible for the management of two clinical cost centers and the further development and growth of the program.  In this role, she prepared the medical rehabilitation program for the first CARF accreditation survey, developed and implemented a comprehensive outcomes management and performance improvement plan and authored a three year programmatic strategic plan to improve the quality of the program while increasing volumes.

From 2002-2003, Suzie further developed her relationship management skills through working with Aegis Marketing Group in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she implemented a market-wide business development initiative focused on creating relationships with large area employers to directly market healthcare services.

Prior to 2002, Suzie provided operational and financial management consulting services to both large healthcare systems and physician groups.  She additionally completed an administrative residency with United Healthcare, gaining an understanding of how insurance companies function from the inside.  Through this well-rounded experience, Suzie has gained invaluable operational insight into the significant financial pressures that plague the healthcare system today, and has gleaned an understanding of how these pressures impact our clients.

Suzie is a graduate of Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine where she received a Master degree in Healthcare Administration. Suzie additionally received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Newcomb College, Tulane University.  She currently resides in the Austin area, and enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors.
